We encourage survivors to gather, remember and to speak aloud the precious names of those lost to suicide. You are in a safe place with those who understand. Share with those who need no explanation.

We host monthly support group meetings and an annual conference to inspire hope, comfort and healing.

“It is important to know people can and do survive the loss of a loved one by suicide.

They are forever altered and may never stop missing their loved one, but they do survive and go on to lead meaningful lives.”

Our Mission

Provide a place to share and vent feelings

Create a safe environment for many who can’t talk to others about suicide

Promote the grief process and help with unique feelings arising from suicide

Serve as a possible deterrent by informing others of the effect suicide has on survivors

Inform others of the unique needs of survivors

Help is here

You are not alone. We empathize with the complicated grief that accompanies suicide loss.
Connecting with those who understand the traumatic and often unexpected nature of suicide loss is one helpful way to cope along the grief journey.

We meet monthly:

Every second Thursday of each month

7:00-8:30 pm

Park Congregational Church

10 Park Place N.E.

Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Free parking is available at the church. The lot entrance is off Ransom St. across from St. Cecilia’s. Press the silver button, hold it down, and wait for security to respond. Ask to be let in for the support group meeting. The gate will open.
